Narrative and Content Strategy

As a Narrative and Content Strategist at IBM, it is my job to lead the content strategy at events. I craft the narrative, speaking sessions, and all physical and digital content elements. I have shared below some of the work I did for my last event, Microsoft Ignite.

Creating the Narrative

My role as the Content Lead is to create a cohesive narrative that represents all my stakeholders and puts the business first. This narrative is the result of numerous stakeholder meetings, ample research, and numerous iterations. Ultimately, I found a balance that delighted my stakeholders and informed our messaging, speaking sessions, and IBM's overall presence at Microsoft Ignite.

New Hire Tool

When I first started at IBM, I had a hard time acclimating to all the acronyms, job titles, and tools. To help the next generation of new hires, I helped create a more effective onboarding process for New Hires at IBM. This project showcases both my writing and UX experience.

Getting Started with Design Thinking

Together with the content writers and designers on my team, we created a micro-site to help the new hires in our organization have a seamless transition into their roles. We used Design Thinking to begin this process and this picture depicts our Vision Statement for this project.

Communications Lead

On my previous team at IBM, I was the communications lead. I was responsible for writing weekly Slack announcements and quarterly blogs. In these Slacks and blogs, I would update our users about the progress of the Content and Experience Hub, including new features and content and upcoming capabilities and content. Below is the last blog I wrote about the Content and Experience Hub.
